"I'm sorry to annoy you AGAIN with this kind of post but Patreon sent a lot of notifications about "taxes updates" recently, that apply the 1st july, and they suggested the creators to warn their patrons.

So, if I understand well, Patreon will add taxes in your next payments starting the 1st july. 

 -This new mandatory sales tax is out of the hands of creator as its collected by patreon and "mandatory by law" indicated in the article above. 

-Tax varies depending on where you live (USA)(4-11%) full list other country here, just scroll down ( example if you pledge 7$ with 5% tax rate because of where you live you will be charged(7.35$) 

I'd understand if this update is too much for you and if some of you guys decide to cancel their pledges to save money. I hope you've spent a good time though!
