Hello guys, a few days ago someone suggested that I try some things to improve my art, if there is something that you would like me to try or something that you don't like?

If you can add images to study them better

I think one of the biggest areas of quicksand illustration that you could improve in the most is your surface detailing. If you look at the example image here that you posted (which you should credit to the artist btw) you can see all the different colors and effects that the artist implemented to give the tar's surface a lot of texture. It looks really nice, comparing to your most recent drawings and when I look at the surface of the pit I can see deliberate brush strokes that kind of stick out, which is somewhat jarring! I'm not an artist myself so I can't give you a direct solution to the problem, maybe you can try different brushes? Or just a different approach to surfaces ripples/effects in general! Either way, I think that's one of the best places you can improve your art in my opinion! Hopefully this helps!

I'm really happy with your art, and I'm no artist myself, so honestly I'm hesitant to even say anything. But since you're asking, there's one thing I've noticed a couple of times that I think could be better. When a part has been in the quicksand or tar or what have you, and then they pull it back out, it kinda looks odd a lot of times. It's like it's a lot thinner than it looks from the way it runs, and it doesn't really stick to them as much as I'd expect. In the "Small gift" right below this, you can see what I mean with the way the tar runs off her elbow. Again, it's really something small, and I'm very happy with your work overall, but that's the only suggestion I can offer with my limited knowledge.

Just an oversight, I'm sure. The source is here: https://twitter.com/ma_k_ne/status/1656319596717289472 . You should edit that in when you see this though, Tears. Thanks for putting it on my radar though! I love tar stuff, it's so destructive not just to the girl's cute clothes, but her hair too...
