Sneak Peeks, Plans & Updates for the Week of March 4, 2024! (Patreon)

Hiya, Patrons! I have a lot of updates for ya this week, 'cause I've been a busy little bee behind the scenes. Let's get started!

Patreon Related News!

I've updated both the Master Patron Credit List AND the Master Patron-Only Suggestion and Request List. The request list is all nice and tidy now, much easier to read with bullet points and the lot. Check it out, if you like!

And, there's a new genre poll for 2024! Vote in that if you haven't yet. (Or even if you have! There were technical difficulties while making the poll x_x;) Slice of life is winning pretty handily right now. Color me surprised!

I'm also putting the finishing touches on new physical perks for the Black Velvet tier! After a few months of pinching my pennies to save up for extended licenses, I've cleared the rights for a few stickers based on some of my most popular audios! Patreon will deliver those to you every three months at the Black Velvet price level.

The audios I selected for stickers:

• Letting Your Tomboy Yandere Stalker in From the Rain
• Your Yandere Mad Scientist Wife Duplicated Herself
• Perky Yandere Mom Kidnaps You for Her Tomboy Tsundere Daughter
• Adopting a (Recovering?) Yandere

I have no idea if this will apply retroactively, or if you have to be signed up for twelve months after they go live to get all four. The delivery set-up is all up to Patreon, so...idk.

But, I'll also be making these available in my shop at some point! The current licenses on a couple of these only allow me to sell up to 5,000 copies, but I doubt I'll reach that volume of sales anytime soon, so they should be available for a good long time!

For the Red Velvet tier, I'll be making another exclusive sticker, just as soon as I clear the rights for that image as well. (Next month? I hope? Commercial licenses are expensive, y'all!)

Finally, in Patreon related news, I decided to make a new one dollar tier, just as a no-frills tip jar:

I resisted making a dollar tier for a long time, because...well, Patreon takes such a big bite out of small pledges. I don't want listeners to throw money away on fees! But, I've had a lot of people request the ability to support the channel on Patreon at a lower price point, and I'm bad at saying no when people want to shove money in my pocket, so I'm taking the plunge. ^^ That goes live tonight!

Youtube Membership News!

A very minor update here, but the channel has had some members on youtube for over a year! It was time to update the membership badges to reflect that!

I LOVE THE NEW BADGE. But then, I would. So pink! So violent! I have no idea what I'll do for 36/48 months if anyone ever reaches that level. I'll burn that bridge when I come to it, I suppose!

Art News!

I'm in the process of negotiating with an artist for a few new Velvet related pieces. Nothing spicy (yet!) but if all goes to plan these will end up in thumbnails this summer. Currently on the slate:

• Tomboy Velvet
• Vampire Velvet
• Yandere Velvet
• Kitsune Velvet (maybe!)

In related news, I've been using getimg.ai to help visualize the kind of spicy art I'd like to commission, kinda get a feel for what I'm looking for. I think that's a great use of AI, actually! Brainstorming concept art for eventual commissions. Should I post those experiments for you all? I'm waffling. Here's one example, Yandere Nurse Vel:

Audio Production News!

As part of my quest to take it easy this year, I'm trying to keep track of my production load and scale things back a bit. You'll never guess how that's going...

Turns out I'm like, super bad at taking it easy! (◕‿◕✿) WHO COULD HAVE FORESEEN. 

It's a good thing I'm forcing myself to take the summer off or I would die.

Also in the production department: I'm considering upgrading my mic soon-ish if I can afford to. I love my Blue Yeti X, and it has served me well for the past eighteen-ish months, but... it may be time for the next step? I think I'll sit on the idea for a few more months before I decide.

Finally, this week's audio! 

...will be: Cursed Book Rewrites Your Life!

I'm still planning to do that long Bounty Hunter series I talked about back in...January? But I thought since I put out an hour long audio last week, I should probably give you a break and do something a bit more modest. This will be under twenty minutes. ^^ I worry that long audio after long audio becomes too overwhelming to keep up with.
