Sneak Peeks, Plans and Updates for the Week of February 12 (Patreon)

Hello, hello! I'm here with some updates. Nothing major! But a couple little things, and a sneak peek at an animated video!

First, there may be a change in the schedule this week. The audio I originally planned for tomorrow (Stuck in a Dating Sim With a Yandere?!) is near completion! However I pulled a real "me" and got too ambitious with the animation. Here's a lil preview of that:

This is just a grainy gif of part of the intro. Once again, I have decided anything worth doing is worth overdoing! (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ 

"Aren't you trying to take it easy?" you may say. "Aren't you fighting burnout???"

The editing computer is taking the workload like a champ, but it's still a lot of fiddling to sync everything up correctly, and I have to sound design around the video intro which is a different experience. So, because I decided to go overboard, that audio's youtube release may need to be pushed back to Friday. 

I'll be working on it as long as possible tonight, and hopefully the video itself will be done in time for tomorrow! If not, one of the other audios in early access will be released instead--either the yandere housewife, or the yandere nun, and I'll shuffle the remaining schedule around accordingly. 

Speaking of Februdere, here's where everything is sitting for the rest of the event!

Not bad! Not great, but not bad, could be worse! Good as I can expect right now.

And finally, other news! After a lot of number crunching and looking at my stats, I've decided to postpone my vacation until the start of summer. I will officially be taking June, July and August off from new audio production, but I'll return to youtube in September.  

I came to this decision for a few reasons: 

• My day job will be nuts all summer long
• My office will be unbearable to record in for long stretches
• My channel stats tend to sink like a stone in the summer anyway

Taking a break when I'll be busiest IRL and when it will hurt my channel the least is the smartest thing to do, I think. I have a few plans to "stay relevant" as it were, so the algorithm doesn't forget Vanilla Velvet Audio entirely, but I really need a break from youtube stuff for a bit.

I don't know yet if I'll make patron-only audios and other content during that period, or if I'll just temporarily suspend the Patreon. It depends on how the next couple of months shake out! 

It would be lovely to have a chunk of time to dedicate to all the Patron-related things I've wanted to do that I haven't been able to while running the channel. Writing scripts and tips 'n tricks posts, commissioning sexy art for you, commissioning patron-only scripts to perform, all sorts of fun things like that.

So. Yeah. I've committed to this. My therapist will beat me up if I don't do it. (Obviously she won't, but she will make a sad face at me and I can't handle that!)

And...I think that concludes updates for the week! I will likely return later tonight with the new audio, but if I don't, then I'll be here with it (and maybe another or two!) by Thursday. See you soon!
