T-minus 4 days and counting until Monster Girl Mayhem officially launches! Today I present the audience participation elements for the event (which I was planning to post on Sunday but may put up...now-ish because a youtube commenter guessed the event lmao) and a couple other little updates.

The audience participation announcement will be this:

"The guessing game for Febru-dere was so popular I wanted to try something similar, but with a new little twist! Each audio for Monster Girl Mayhem is represented by two emojis this time around: one from each set! As audios go live, their combined meanings will be revealed! What wild, wacky potential audio combinations can you come up with? :3"

And the audio listings will look like this:

(Obviously with thumbnails and tags added, as reveals occur!)

Okay. With that out of the way, second part of the update! I've recorded two more audios, and I'm planning on doing a third tonight. Editing shouldn't take too long, since the recording process went smoothly with minimal line flubs. That'll bring me up to seven finished audios, more than half of May's roster.

My instinct (my very tired instinct) is to rest on my laurels for a week and then jump back into producing more audios, but I would rather get a bunch of stuff done before the event starts and take most of the month "off" than not. Febru-dere had a lot of last minute recordings because I procrastinated, and while I had fun with the event overall, I was also making myself miserable with stressing about getting things done on time. I'd like to avoid that in May!

Finally! Time for the overall event update!

  • Gather script possibilities - DONE!
  • Contact writers - DONE!
  • Design event intro/outro - DONE!
  • Post list of script possibilities on Patreon - DONE!
  • Pick script finalists - DONE!
  • Plan vocal choices for each script - DONE!
  • Plan audio schedule - DONE!
  • Design audience participation elements - DONE!
  • Find appropriate stock - DONE!
  • Make all thumbnails - DONE!
  • Hunt down appropriate SFX for all sound cues
  • Edit/expand scripts as needed
  • Record/adlib
  • Edit
  • Make videos
  • Write new keyword rich titles/descriptions for each audio
  • Upload to youtube & properly tag
  • Launch, oversee and promote event!

Whew. Okay. Progress! We're getting there! I'll be back (maybe tomorrow?  Depending on how editing goes? This weekend at the latest!) with another batch of early access event audios. Wish me luck!

xoxo
