Sneak Peeks, Plans and Updates for the Week of April 1, 2024! (Patreon)

Hello, Patrons! It's time for our weekly-ish update on what's coming down the pipeline for the channel!

First Update: Raccoons!

Since I'm sure you're curious...

Long story short, a family of raccoons recently moved into the space above my recording studio/office. Or maybe a mommy raccoon had babies? Whatever. I have no idea how long they've been there exactly, but they really made themselves apparent this past week. As you might imagine, they're making recording a bit difficult what with all the chittering and trying to chew holes in my ceiling!

It's going to be a bit of a hassle to get them removed, and I can't get it taken care of it until May at the earliest. Fun times! If I turn up nibbled to death, just know I've always loved you, and the raccoons bumped me off.

Second Update: Upcoming Commissioned Art!

Got some work back from the artist I previously commissioned! Just like the last set, these are for future thumbnail use, and I've included the images from the briefs to give you a peek at what I had in mind:

There have already been some major revisions, and the colors are almost done, I just have to finish putting the final thumbnail bases together with a few minor edits. ^^ But I wanted to share the behind the scenes process, anyway!

This commission experience has been great, and I will almost certainly be getting a few more pieces this month if I can swing it.

Third Update: Upcoming Audios!

I've got April's schedule all planned out so I can start working on Monster Girl Mayhem every spare second I get. The ongoing 2024 patron-only genre poll has really pushed for more slice of life and sci fi, so I'm giving ya what ya want! Therefore, this month's audios will be:

April 10: Stuck With Your Ex Bully at Your High School Reunion?!

F4M, around 25 minutes?

April 17: Tough Girl Synth Hunter Captures You

F4A, Blade Runner inspired, synth listener, 20-ish minutes.

April 24: Pulling a Heist With a Bounty Hunter!

F4A, 1+ hour.

I'd like to swap the Bounty Hunter/Synth Hunter spots in the schedule, but I've had to bump this series multiple times, and I'm scared I may have to do it again. There's a single part in the series that requires a rather meaty collab, and I've tapped Juniper or her brother for that, it's just a matter of syncing our schedules up.

So, I'm trying to give myself as much time as possible to get it done. BUT I WILL GET IT DONE, DANG IT.

Final Update: Other Things!

I'm somehow still on track to outpace all the channel's previous years production efforts, which feels nuts because I really am trying to take it easy!

Summer will be a fascinating experiment, since I'm taking that little vacation from youtube. No idea how that will affect the year's production numbers. I'm still hoping to make at least a few Patreon-exclusive audios. Trying to find a bunch of scripts for that now, actually, on top of Monster Girl Mayhem scripts. I plan to focus on the genres you all have voted for, so expect a lot of slice-of-life goodness in the near future!

Monster Girl Mayhem will have 14 audios just like last year, and if I manage to post a Patron audio every week over the summer, that's another 13 I gotta nail down. (Granted, a Patron audio every week sort of defeats the purpose of a vacation, so maybe I should instead scale back to half that amount? I'm really bad at this! Hopefully, I can record the exclusive audios in a big batch and just release them weekly so I'll still actually get a break.)

In any case, April and May are going to be busy, busy, busy!

Now, I've got tomorrow off, so I gotta get to work! I'll see you soon!
