And finally, here's PAGE 02 of this year's Halloween mini-comic... FANGS, fully lettered for your enjoyment.

So... "IS THIS STORY CANON?", many of you will ask. 

That's a very good question... 

...and one that I haven't quite got the answer to, just yet. For now, it's HALLOWEEN, so I do hope you'll enjoy this page... and what comes next! Heh! Heh! Heh! XD 

There are some really wicked VARIANTS coming later this month, and PAGE 03 is on its way too, so STAY TOONED!

I’ve personally always found vampire Red Velvet to be absolutely stunning. He just fits the role of a vampire sooooooo well 😍

Thanks so much, Cody! Since I first drew Red Velvet as a Vampire for Halloween in 2019, I've been kinda captivated by the idea of him as a Vampire. It's taken a while to get around to drawing this comic, but I just had to get to it, this year. And the more I explore him as a bloodsucker, the more I like it. I agree with you completely -- the role suits him so well. So yeah, we'll see if I take steps to make him this way for good in the comics or not. Still thinking about it! LOL! Smooches to ya!! Honestly, I kind of find this evolution of Red Velvet to make a lot of sense. It brings a new dimension to the character. It makes me think of Bloodstorm from Mutant X or Raphael from the Soulcalibur series.

Just gorgeous. Lush detail, inviting depth and yet almost a sense of suffocating or smothering: come closer, for a too tight embrace...Amazing image.

Hey, Johnny! Yeah, I agree! Like I mentioned to Cody in the comment above yours, ever since I first drew him this way for Halloween a few years ago, I've been captivated by the idea of him becoming a vampire. I think this is also a cool way to breathe further life into his narrative. I sorta feel that since BRIGAYDE #3 when we got to see his origin story, he's been on the back burner. I want more for him and this just might be the way to go. So far everyone is responding so positively to him as a bloodsucker... I think I'm on the right track! LOL! Hiya Conor. So glad you're enjoying FANGS so far and RED as a vampire. I certainly need to fill in the back story eventually, but for now, isn't it fun to see him in this light?
