#WTFWEDNESDAY - "BROTHER to DRAGONS" #2 - cover art - 2012 - Bonus Reward! (Patreon)

Hello, my beautiful Patrons! 

Welcome to #WTFWEDNESDAY for the third week in a row!

I promise, some Wednesdays will be filled with art that's a REAL departure from what you typically see from me, but today, I wanted to share with you my art for the BROTHERS TO DRAGONS #2 cover, this, of course, being from way back in 2012! 

At the time, the book's artist, Carlos García had a scheduling conflict and was no longer available to create a cover for the second issue. François Peneaud, the creator and writer of the series, approached me in the hopes that I could draw a cover myself. I was so excited to do so because I truly loved the series. 

Long story short, François liked the cover but stated he felt the cocks were much too big and that he tended to prefer smaller appendages. I reduced things a tad, but an artist's style is his style -- I don't DO small -- and we both agreed that I should represent the characters in my own artistic flair -- and so, LARGE PENISES! 

In the end, there has never been a third issue of the series, which saddens me greatly. The series was SO MUCH FUN!! 

My sense is that both Carlos and François moved on to work on other things separately, but BROTHER TO DRAGONS remains a Class Comics fan favorite, even though the story has never been completed. 

As for me, I still enjoy this moody cover, though undoubtedly, if I were drawing it today, it would do many things very differently. Still, I hope you enjoy this "behind the scenes" look at the stages of the cover process.
