Merci, cher ami! I work at 400 DPI and that gives me a little more file size to play with when I wanna do close-ups like this one, etc... I'm so pleased you enjoyed the closer look at Isaiah's lips and face! Thanks for the kind words! XOXO ❤️😊

2023-03-25 10:10:51 Yeah, I know what you mean. I scan all my original drawings done for LUST & usually all my artwork at 600 dpi, which is huge indeed. But can you believe I scanned at 1200dpi for the fist chapter! I had to stop at page 10 or so, my computer was sweating LOL With Procreate & my next comic I'd like to still work at 600dpi, but it's limitating the number of layers, so I'm not sure.

1200 -- HOLY COW! 😲😅 I can imagine your computer was freaking out a little from the work-load! LOL! AS for Procreate, yeah -- I know what you mean. Essentially, the DPI you work with in Procreate dictates the number of layers you'll get to work with. At 400, it's 14, and while that sounds like a lot, I find it often kind of restrictive. I always end up with like 5 to 8 versions of each page, each version preserving the individual layers per panel. That way, I know I can go back and restore something of I need to. It's saved my ass a number of times in the past! I'm so excited to see your next all-digital book -- I think it will be quite a wonderful visual experience. Have fun with it, mon ami!! Thanks for the tips Patrick, I feel so baby born with Procreate LOL but I learn each day, so much can be done! So you work your pages entirely in the app! Wow I'm beyond impressed!
