Good evening, my beautiful Patrons!

I'm nearly ready to roll out this month's CALENDAR HUNK... but while you wait for TRIP, I thought I'd share some of my "other art" with all of you as a BONUS REWARD!

I am a HUUUUGE SPACE: 1999 fan! It's one of those shows I grew up with and have never stopped loving as an adult. If you don't know who MAYA is -- she's a beautiful shape-changing alien superwoman extraordinaire, incidentally -- then you dunno the fun you're missing! It may be from the late 1970s, but it still brings me immense joy to rewatch all those classic episodes!

For months now, I've been creating "faux Fanzine covers" for my SPACE:1999 Facebook Group, and I figured you might enjoy this month's entry... for obvious reasons.

As inspiration for this cover, I chose the season 2 episode "One Moment of Humanity". I featured ZARL (Leigh Lawson), Doctor Russel (Barbara Bain),  Tony Verdeschi (Tony Anholt), Zamara ( Billie Whitelaw), and Commander John Koenig (Martin Landau).  Oh, and I added a throuple of "androids" to the mix, too.

ZARL, the hunky shirtless dude in the golden harness and skin-tight purple pants -- and before you ask, YES he did wear EXACTLY that in his episode -- was quite a sexy and good looking guy. I can't honestly say "Zarl made me gay" when I first saw him in my preteens, but I'm sure he helped awaken my spark! BAH HA HA HA!

Anyway, I always go for a very stylized art-style when I create these Fanzine covers, and while I'm quite sure many of you will look at this and go " WTF is Space: 1999?!?" I do hope you'll enjoy this.

Meanwhile, next year, there's an official SPACE: 1999 convention that's been planned for in London, and the organizers have reached out and asked me to draw the official con program cover art, as well as provide the interior art for the booklet. People associated with the show, along with some of my favorite actors from the series are all taking part. Needless to say, for this massive fanboy, this will be a dream come true!!!

Have a great night, and when next I post, I promise it will be BIG, JUICY DICK! XD

Great Big Hugz + Kisses... Patrick XOXO

PatrickFillion

Awww, thank you so much, my dear David!! 😆😁🥰 I'm SOOOOO PLEASED you like this piece so much! And YES -- We totally should do a BRIGAYDE version of this layout. I think it could be SUPER sexy! We'll talk about it next time we Skype! Gros Bisous, mon bel aim!! 😘😘😘

PatrickFillion

Thank you so much, Preston! It makes me SO HAPPY to know you enjoyed this piece. And yes indeed, Season 1 is TERRIFIC. I love both seasons with the same intensity, but for very different reasons! LOL! A great show all around! 🥰😚

Xander Magick

So uh...You going to draw more Zarl? He needs to slide those pants down a little. lol

CLX

Gorgeous! The faces are so on point!

Preston Frazier

Now we need Fraser and Alan Carter hooking up.

PatrickFillion

HA HA HA! I love that you know the show so well, Preston! And as much as I'd LOVE to see that too, I'd be too shy to draw it, given how closely I'm associated with the Space: 1999 community! But a sexy drawing of Alan is DEFINITELY in the plans! LOL! Thanks again so much. 💗😃

PatrickFillion

Heh! Heh! Zarl is DAMN sexy, that's for sure. He was on the show, and I tried my best to capture that essence here. I'd love to draw him completely nude, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I'm too closely associated with the Space: 1999 community. I think I'd feel a little creepy if I drew that on the off chance that it could get back to the actor who portrayed him! LOL! But I love that you find him so sexy as to ask! Thanks very much for that! 😆😚

I too grew up with SPACE: 1999 (though in Germany it was called Mond Basis AlphaEinz) and for those that don't know, it has the most groovy, guitar-twanging, bi-polar, 70s theme music ever!
