For JYP trainees, they still prioritize education. So even though they are trainees they still are needed to attend school and submit thier grades and they have to maintain a certain grade. The reason is that they are preparing their trainees for worst case scenario that if they do not debut they still have an option to make a living may it be in the entertainment industry or not.

I became a Once around the Feel special era. At the time “Feel Special” was released it had been about 2 months after Mina’s hiatus was announced. While she participated in the music video and other shoots for the album, she was not present for any of the performances. Her part in Feel Special is amazing that whole song I would say has a special place in every once's heart. Also they do talk a bit about Mina's hiatus. looking forward to your reaction of Feel Special when you get there.

I think trainees are really tough. It was so painful to see Momo's scene at the audition😭 I can't stop crying no matter how many times I watch it. It's the same with Mina's case and Jeongyeon now, but I'm really glad that TWICE overcame those things and stayed as nine members.

That should be a standard in these companies though. Poor trainees literally putting everything on the line for 3-8 years sometimes. I am happy JYP covers that base at least.

Mina was on hiatus during the tour due to mental issues. It comes out later in seize the light, but TWICE and once had a very difficult time at that time.
