tbh I didn't see Byounggon and Seunghun choice as picking on a "younger or weaker" team. but rather they didn't want to have to kick Yedam or Junkyu out because they were in treasure A together and they all wanted to be together to debut.

Just a note.. I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but in Korea everyone born the same year turns the same age on the 1st of January and on top of that in Korea you are born 1 because they count the 9 months in the womb. You weren't wrong about yoonbin seeming younger because at that time though they say 19 in Korean age he is actually 17 (Because his bday is in December).

The +1 in Korean age is removed already. So their age is same with international age now. I think if ever Yoonbin continued with Treasure he belongs to the 00Liner with Jihoon, Yoshi and Junkyu.

That is the most confusing way of deciding your age....

2023-01-17 02:55:37 Actually, I believe that the change to using international ages is still being debated by the government. It would be a huge change in the Korean "identity" and custom so last I heard it was not near official. Especially the older generations are having a harder time with the proposal. And you made a very good observation about choosing those, seemingly, easier targets by the more experienced teams. Yep producer YG absolutely hated that. When I was watching the show at the time, it was that moment that turned me sour on Byounggon & Seunghun for the rest of the show. (I don't think that I was the only one that felt that way, as things turned out.) I didn't expect them to tackle the Yedam/Keita team, but wow how disrespectful to the process to pick on the least experienced team, especially after watching what happened to Hyunsuk and Seunghun himself in the first round. And then karma came back, at least on Byounggon.
