So, it's been a long time since I have done one of those, but we are finally a part of the story where I can appreciate your input a bit more as the foundation of the story and the general direction is clear.

If I had done some polls before reaching this point, I fear that it would have been difficult for me to advance this story so smoothly.

Anyway, I am very pleased with how things are going with The Wanderer, as the pace and the general character development are coming along nicely.

Now, let's quickly talk about what lies ahead for this story in the near future.

One of the coming plotpoints will revolve around the movie 'The Amazing Spiderman'(the one with Andrew Garfield), and I have been thinking about how much Elijah should interfere, or if he should interfere at all.

Judging by his character, it isn't too unlike him to just sit by and do nothing as Peter's problems aren't really something he has to involve himself in. He also isn't interested in the Serum Peter's father made as his planned power-up makes that unncessary, not to mention that it's unlikely to work as intended on a mutant.

On the other hand, Peter is a good guy and Elijah wouldn't be totally adverse to helping him out. They might even become friends, at least I feel that they would get along well. In that case, letting Uncle Ben die would be a no-go.

At this point I lean towards the latter, as I kinda like Uncle Ben and Peter gets f*cked over bad in the Marvel Universe, no matter the timeline.

Now about the poll: This is really just a short inquiry on my part about your impression of Jean and Elijah, and if you think that they have room for another person in their relationship, namely Laura.

I have been playing with the thought of inserting Laura into the relationship, not as a second lover for Elijah but as a lover for both Jean and Elijah. This would naturally happen with a bit of preparation and I do have a plan to make it work.

Still, I was curious about what you think. And I have not decided on anything for the time being.

I really wish you wouldn’t go the love triangle route, as I particularly hate pretty much any representation of them that I’ve read or seen so far in novels and media. With harems and the mc having 2 lovers it’s clearly an imbalance in the relationship, but it doesn’t feel as cheaty as a love triangle does. It’s the same problem that having yuri in a harem suffers from. When you have a harem but the women are in a relationship too and doing things without the mc I can’t help but view that as cheating. And yes the mc could be aware and okay with it, which would eliminate that issue but I still feel horrible at the thought of it, cuz then I can’t help but view the mc as a cuck. Naturally I’m aware that others may not share my opinion, but this is just my personal views on polygamy, and the reason why as much as I wanted Laura to join, if it’s gonna be done like this id rather it just stay mcXjean

I’m completely confused about where the story is going. The story starts by establishing a protagonist who is afraid of the world that he is thrown into, so he vowed to become powerful enough to be untethered to ANYTHING and anyone. This was further reinforced when the Ancient One stated that in the future he would be a ‘neutral’ player, someone who seemingly doesn’t care for Earth but may become the ‘tie breaker’ to stop both sides or only intervene when they both are facing an extreme situation which is out of their hands. I love this. It’s different, original, and refreshing.. But then he uncharacteristically fell in love.. knowingly gaining a ‘weakness’ that threatens his own goal. The story turned into pure teen romance for awhile. Fine, I get it, it’s human nature, maybe. Then he now also cares about his family, yep, not another red flag, sure. Now, he’s likely going to interfere with Spider-Man? I didn’t read the comics, but from what I’ve gathered, he is not significant on the grander scale, yet MC is willing to take risks, make enemies, and possibly even involve his family, because what? He’s ‘bothered’ by how cursed Parker is? What’s next? Is he joining the Avengers? Become the next Mutant Messiah? Serve as the Sorcerer Supreme? Savior of Asgard? I feel like his original purpose has become so tainted and lost that I’m not sure where the story is going anymore ;-;

I do understand your concern and I have to admit that you have a point. But the things I mention in this post don't necessarily appear like that in the story. Elijah has not yet interfered in the events surrounding Peter, and based on the current trend I think he might not do so at all in the end. I just mentioned Peter in this post because the events of 'The Amazing Spiderman' are about to unfold themselves in the story. Naturally, there is a parallel and the main storyline which is Elijah's and this is the one I am writing about. There are other events that are going to take place simultaneously. Also, the Elijah has only spent very little time in this world as of now and not many things have happened. For him to truly be 'neutral' it is kind of necessary to encounter events that force him to make a decision, which is also what is currently happening since he just meet Peter.
