While writing on my X-Men Crossover, I thought about which characters to add and which version of them to add. The one that came to my mind the first and foremost was Spiderman.

Over the years I have realized that there are a ton of different versions of this popular characters. Well, the movies alone showed that pretty clearly.

Personally, I was a great fan of the first Spiderman in the movies and in equal measure also a fan of 'The Amazing Spiderman'.

I don't know how popular these two are amongst you, especially the second one, but I found the actor just great. He really brought life to the character and his inner conflict, where responsibility clashed with his affection for Gwen was great to watch. I also found the ending of the second movie to be incredibly good.

Why, some of you may aks? Well, not everything ends with a happy end, especially so when you are fighting superhuman beings that are out to kill you. It's just not realistic that everything always goes right for the 'hero'. It also showed beautifully how Peter, despite the grief he felt, once again chose to step up to protect the city he was born in.

Truly I am not a fan of 'heroes' in general, as I think they portray ideals that they themselves aren't capable of following. And that is beside the fact that their motivations often aren't very pure. Still, there are a few I truly enjoy watching and one of them is Spiderman.

The new Spiderman movies however, with Tom Holland as the actor, I don't like at all. Maybe it is personal bias, but I don't think he protrays the character very well, or maybe he does and I just don't like this version of Spiderman. And while I am a huge fan of the Marvel movies, I can't seem to bring myself to watch the two follow-up movies.

And now, without further ado to today's poll. I want to now who is your favourite Spiderman, movies only. Old-school 'Spiderman', 'The Amazing Spiderman' or 'Flimsy New Spiderman'. Or well, maybe you like none of them, as that is certainly an option.
