(no spoiler comment) idk if anyone has told you/if you know but before you watch s2 make sure you peep the movie first, it’s a prequel to s1 but there’s good extra info in there needed before s2. and bro nothing will prepare you for the scale of s2 that’s all i’ll say LMAOO i’ve even started reading ahead now bc i can’t wait

To clarify: Sukuna already made the pact when he healed Itadri's heart, they "fought to the death" in that mental space (innate domain) to decide whether the pact would be made and since Sukuna won, it was. The pact is that Sukuna can take control of Itadori's body for a limited time whenever he chants "Extension", but the 2nd condition of the pact is that Itadori forgot that the pact was made. Mahito wanted to use Junpei to force Itadori into a pact with Sukuna because he doesn't know that Sukuna already made a pact with Itadori - nobody really knows except Sukuna and Gojo, who suspected a pact was made but doesn't know what the pact is.

Ok thank you, that was the impression I was under too but the fact that they really made Itadori forget it made me like wait- did the pact really happen? So the person who cants extension would be Sukuna?
