Update + Requests (Patreon)

Sup Crew!

Two part post for you guys real quick.

You may not have seen an upload but I'm working hard behind the scenes trust! (will try to get the week outline out for y'all asap, if not, i'll get it next week and post content still this week ofc.)

There's some changes I'm trying to navigate right now with everything, including the editors. Dropbox has changed their plan I've been using for the past 4 years, and now the storage is not unlimited and I'd say once Moving is done, I'll be out of a storage option unless I want to pay a custom subscription fee. Without Dropbox, starting this page with the old content we've watched would not have been possible since I don't have storage physically as the system I had corrupted when I moved back to Michigan.

Either way, this has resulted in me trying to find other sites to store our content, but other sites charge for storage and bandwidth usage and it becomes a whole situation like Vimeo, where they charge each person a fraction of a cent, per stream, and it just adds up in different ways. Trying to work out a solution. ($$$) Patreon has their video option but have yet to announce how much it will cost within the new year which is around the corner. (hopefully they save the day and offer good rates)

Editors seem to be going well, but the content isn't being received well yet, even on the main channel. I might have to try doing it with airing kdramas or not do it at all since it eats up most of what we make here on Patreon and I have to be mindful of that since I have things I need to pay for as well. For reference, I'm getting Moving/All of us are Dead/Bloodhounds edited into YT versions and a handful of videos for the anime channel. Those contents alone, used nearly all of the funds that you guys provided from Patreon this month.

My first kpop interview/collab video has finally been approved after 8 revisions lol, and I have to pay to get the video translated now, and that's the last step. Once we grow here on Patreon these things will be more feasible but after doing this one and seeing how quickly the costs of these contents can add up, it's tough!

This is just a way of me being transparent and keeping y'all in the loop! Thanks for reading.

In regards to requests:

The holiday is next week and my birthday is right after. I will be away for those, so I will have the next week to film content for y'all to go up during those week days to end out the month. I will also be doing some apartment hunting while I am gone. I'd love for you all to suggest content/videos under 30 mins (in the comments of this post) so I can get those videos filmed/scheduled for you. It is so much easer doing 9 20-30 min videos in 3 hours than doing only 3 or 2 60-90 min videos. This is something I'm paying a lot more attention to as I want to accommodate for as many different watchers as possible.
