저기요/잠시만요 can mean excuse me in Korean ! either to get someone’s attention or if ur trying to get by/pass someone (but you only use 잠시만요 when trying to get by someone, not 저기요). when I was studying abroad it took me so long to figure out that I could literally just say 잠시만요 to get ppl to move out of my way lmfaooo and when I finally tried saying it, I was so surprised that it actually worked

also idk if there’s significance in her covering half of her face in the mirror (I dropped the show but now that you’re posting it, it gives me a reason to finish) but I think it’s really cool that they included those parts bc I used to do the same thing when I was a teenager and felt insecure abt the way I looked, it’s nice knowing I wasn’t the only one 😭

What made you drop the show? If you don't mind me asking. I remember using 저기요 last trip I took when we were trying to ask for the waiter's attention for water.I did not know that there was a way to get past someone easier though.

Yeahh 저기요 is used a lot in restaurants to get the waiters attention, I love when they have that little button that calls them tho bc I always felt awkward 😂 and I dropped it bc it’s not rlly my style of show but it is also interesting so I would watch it w another person or through a reaction. I don’t mind dark comedy or darker shows in general but I found it kinda depressing to watch? and couldn’t tell what message the show was trying to convey or what I should be left with after watching. I also wasnt interested in most of the storylines so I did skip around a bit and stopped at the last ep. I kinda felt the same w squid game and ended up just watching ur reactions bc I couldn’t bring myself to sit through it on my own even tho I found it interesting

I’m so happy you started watching it ! I felt like this episode was just an introduction to the main girl, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg. Episode 2 escalate real quick and the tension doesn’t drop until the end of the show. I hope you continue watching this, I’ll be down to rewatch it with you even tho I watched it 2 days ago haha
