The Bigger Post ™ (Patreon)

Hey all!

I mentioned earlier in my last post, I'd have this out sometime this week and Friday still counts as this week right?

I'd like to lift the curtain a little bit though and provide some transparency here. After I was finished with my thesis work and everything was all submitted, I basically shifted straight into "deal with wrap-up and find a job" mode and that has been eating a lot of my time lately. With my academic career as a student over, the big question that I've been trying not to think about of how I'm going to make a living has surfaced, and while Patreon definitely helps, it's not going to pay my rent AND feed me. I am happy to say though that just this week, I had a second round of interviews for a position that would grant me a good deal of freedom in my time and also pay for everything I need. I don't have anything on paper yet, but I have a really good feeling about it. If this opportunity works out, I'll be set and able to fully indulge in the work here until I need to move later in the summer. Fingers crossed.

Anyway, I do have something for you today. It's a Twine game! It's been a while since we saw one of these, huh? The setting is really fertile in this one and I have an idea of a whole big story I'd like to tell in it. Probably as a visual novel instead of a twine game, but that's future project talk. With this out of the way, I'm gonna head back into trying to get some stuff done on WDD. Download is below!
