Some Stuff I've Been Up To (Patreon)

So, this week is special because I have a little prototype thing to show off! This is a game I'm calling The Silkfang Respite, and it's extra special because all of the art is mine! This is pretty useful for a lot of reasons, but the main one is that it means that I'm not constrained to a genre or specific set of mechanics anymore.

Now onto the game's concept.

You play as Fee, a fledgling mage who's first undertaking is setting up a rehabilitation house for monster girls! This mechanic is demonstrated in the form of a Pokemon style battle and capture system, wherein you must weaken the monster through combat before you can catch them and take them back to be rehabilitated. In addition, there will be some simplified form of player progression, as well as 5 dungeons around the world that you must complete and defeat a boss at the end of.

Needless to say, I'm pretty excited about this, and I wanted to share it this week before I release a little demo of it next week.

For those of you who are worried about DOAS getting swept under the rug, I assure you, I have no plans to abandon it! There is a story there that I need to tell and I do plan to release an update as usual next Sunday.

That being said, if interest in this project is high enough, I would consider switching between an update of this and an update of DOAS every other week as I did with Spank or Treat, but we will see how things work out. Thanks for being awesome everyone!
