So this week I got a lot done on Blackwarren's quest, I'd even go as far as to say it's about 60-70% done! First, a little backstory on what's going on here.

One of my favorite games growing up was The Legend Of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. I had Oracle of Ages too, but I never liked it as much as Seasons. Anyway, in a few parts of the game, you had to follow a character without them noticing you. It was really tedious and annoying, but for some reason, I liked it. Granted, much of the game was slashing things with your sword and solving puzzles, so I guess the opportunity to be a sneaky dude and follow some fools around was just different enough to stand out to me.

Those moments in my childhood, ironically (or understandably, if you subscribe to Freudian psychology), inspired this section of the game. You have to move through each house in Blackwarren undetected and do a thing. If they catch you, this happens. I added the option to skip in because a few of these are pretty difficult, and I wouldn't want to make a player sit through a scene they've seen a bunch of times before. Also, every villager's scene is different, so get caught by them all I guess?

Bye!

Just when I thought I couldn't be more excited. I'm earnestly looking forward to your updates on the project, I actually replayed the latest build over the weekend again just for some fun. Cannot wait for more dude!

OH MY GOD! I always wanted to see a stealth mechanic work for game like this where you get caught, you get punished! You have honestly just made waiting even harder for me. So in other words, thank you for putting this in but CURSE YOU FOR TEASING IT!
