Unfortunately, there is a writers strike going on right now so many shows wont be returning to their normal schedules. Season 3 was supposed to be premiering in September but that doesn't seem to be happening anymore.

Janine had been with Tariq since she was in middle school. She needs some time to be selfish and think only about herself. This means she wants to date casually and not do anything serious right now. If she doesn't take that space for herself right now, she'd only end up hurting Gregory.
