Commission: Memory in the dragon village Drasna X Calem (Patreon)

After retiring from the Kalos Elite 4, Drasna, the veteran Dragon Master, watched with melancholy as her life unfolded slowly. Throughout her existence, her routine was marked by being the best Dragon trainer and holding a prominent position among the elite, as instilled in her since childhood in her hometown. She knew nothing else but hard work and constant effort to maintain her position and be the pride of the Dragon clan. However, over time, even those glories began to fade. At the age of 68, she was a great woman, with extensive combat experience, but none in the realm of love. She simply never allowed herself the necessary time to cultivate a relationship, marry, and have children, something her own self-demanding nature denied her. Now, in the calm of her retirement, past feats seemed more distant, and the longing for a companion by her side resonated strongly in her heart, like a late whisper of what could have been.
But what was holding her back? Attractiveness, money, status? In her youth, she attracted numerous suitors with her charm; she was a woman of stunning beauty. Despite the passage of time, her body still retained its exuberant and curvaceous figure. Her once firm breasts now sagged, revealing a large dark areola, and her flat abdomen had transformed into a fuller and generously rounded shape, giving her a warmer and more inviting presence. Her body had acquired a peculiar beauty, unique to a woman of her age and experience. This beauty shone through her maternal, serene, and cheerful demeanor. Even now, more men found a woman like her attractive and exciting – a beauty akin to wine: mature, single, and with a juicy fortune from her retirement. Her status as a competent and powerful trainer became an additional allure. Who wouldn't want to boast that their partner is the best Dragon trainer and a distinguished former member of the Elite? She not only exuded beauty and experience but also carried an aura of respect and admiration in the Pokémon world.
The veteran was exceptionally the perfect match; she could have easily secured a life of luxury and comfort by marrying some millionaire magnate from Lumiose City. However, that was not what she sought. She needed something more than being the trophy wife of someone at her level. She longed for simpler and more peaceful things, like the life she had years ago with her family in her old village. The woman yearned for something different.
Perhaps she could resign herself and revel in a life of luxury and travel, taking advantage of her singleness and choosing not to depend on anyone. There are things that can only be done for a time in your life, she thought.
At that precise moment, a call echoed on her cell phone; it was Calem. The young prodigy who had defeated Team Flare and saved the Kalos region. Drasna knew firsthand of his strength, as he had defeated her on his way to becoming the champion. Moreover, they had maintained a teacher-student relationship, as she took every opportunity to share her experience and wisdom with the young champion, understanding that there are lessons that are only absorbed with the passage of years.
Drasna answered, and on the other end of the phone, Calem congratulated the veteran on her well-deserved retirement and the rest she had earned. However, in his words, a palpable sadness was also perceived due to the difficulty of seeing each other more frequently. Drasna smiled subtly, contemplating the possibility that he could be the right person to share her deepest concerns. Furthermore, perhaps this call could mark a meeting that could be the last.
They agreed to meet at a cozy café in Lumiose City, where they shared pleasant conversations and memorable moments. A tangible chemistry lingered in the air; Drasna immersed herself in that moment as if it were the most precious thing in the world, understanding that no one else could bring her the happiness that Calem offered. However, time moved inexorably, and the moment to say goodbye arrived. Making an important decision, Drasna chose to return to the village where she was born, the place of the Dragon Masters. There, she could assume the role of a teacher for the new generation of the village, a prospect that could fill the family void she longed for, even if it wasn't in the conventional way. The idea of forming a family with the right man had always lingered in her mind, so much so that, in internal whispers, she betrayed herself with the words, "Would you like to come and start a family with me?"
Calem's face was painted with surprise when Drasna, realizing his expression, blushed with embarrassment and tried to conceal her intentions, claiming that she meant to be part of a training family for a few months. Calem smiled conspiratorially and, with an expressive twinkle in his eyes, responded affirmatively, indicating that he would be delighted to be part of that training "family." Drasna sensed understanding in Calem's gaze. A brief tension enveloped the air, freezing time for both, until the sound of a call broke the atmosphere.
Calem bid farewell, explaining that he had an interview in an hour. Before leaving, a few words resonated with Drasna: "Tonight, I will announce that I will help the veteran master Drasna form a family and the next generation of dragon masters." These words left Drasna with her hands on her face, filled with hopeful emotion that overflowed in tears.
The time they shared in that place was truly wonderful. However, there came a moment when the champion's responsibilities became overwhelming, and he had to step back from the project with the veteran, for the time being... Nevertheless, Calem always carries with him the only memento left of that beautiful experience. A photo showing the result of his effort to give Drasna a glimpse of the family she so desired.
