The pacing is fine. Good I would even say. It builds up the emotional pressure and gives moments time to breath. It can work to make things more relaxed, or it can be used to really hammer in the tension. It also gives time for the incredible music to work its wonders. It's really only after the halfway point it becomes really noticeable, but even then it's fine for binge watching. I really think people blow it out of proportion.

I think there is a big discrepancy in binge watching and catching it week by week in a time before YouTube.
