Mustang and Ed's relationship is one of the things that Brotherhood shortchanges compared to the original. Ed's been in the military 3-4 years They've known each other for years at this point as Mustang was Ed's superior/minder for most of his early career. They just like to antagonize each other and probably always will.

I THINK what Nerdy is getting at with the planet size thing is that the "tropical zone" is gonna be roughly the same size no matter the size of the planet. I'm not sure how accurate that is. Seasons are based on axial tilt. A perfect 90degree "tilt" would mean no "seasons" because heat on surface is based on how much atmosphere the energy passes through. In North Temperate zone it's summer right now cuz the distance travelled by the Sun's energy has less atmosphere to pierce than in January.
