This chapter is only famous for the very end w/ Nynaeve in borderlands. It's my favorite moment in the entire series. You need a spouse that will literally gather an army for you. Goals!

The Nyaneve/Lan section is always listed in the top moments of the series. It just hits hard, and gets better on a reread. I forgot how long the rest of the chapter was when I voted for it.

The wot fan base has a hard on for Nyneave that's why they voted for it. Personally I would have voted for Ch. 23. But I despise the discord app and will never go there.

When you're thinking about the books months after you've finished them, this chapter is infinitely more memorable than 19. IMO it is the climax of Nynaeve's entire story arc. I assume this is why it was picked over other (probably better) options. That said, 19 made for a better reaction than 20, and it really seems in general that action chapters work best for these. Dumai's Wells and the end of Winter's Heart were two other great reactions whereas stuff like this, or Perrin dealing with the Aiel interrogation, are maybe more effective to just read and discuss in the book club.

I am always crying by the end of this chapter, one of my favorite moments in the entire series! That said, 19 was a way better chapter to react to, the death gates are always something that has stuck in my head.
