BTS release japanese albums with japanese versions of their songs with a few bonus songs on them. it's basically just a japanese version of their previously released albums. it's specifically for their japanese fans.

each japanese album has a (few) new bonus tracks. Film Out, Lights, Let Go, Don't Leave Me, Stay Gold, Crystal Snow, For You, Your Eyes Tell, I like it part 2, The Stars, Wishing On a Star, Wake Up, Good Day. I'd listen to their korean discography first, and after that listen to the japanese bonus tracks if you want.

Yeah, you can tell when it's a Japanese album if there are a bunch of repeated songs from their last album, and "Japanese Ver." written. Each Japanese album has ~2-3 new songs though, so you can react just to the songs w/o "japanese ver" if you'd like! Crystal Snow for example is off a Japanese album. And I think usually they aren't really involved with the Japanese albums (like they aren't writing the lyrics/producing?). Whereas with their Korean albums everything is from they, themselves. So the Japanese albums don't have that personal touch. If you're ever unsure just post on here and someone will answer to save you time! People often like "dool set"'s website for better translated lyrics, but unfortunately it's only writing and the music doesn't play along with it. You could play it yourself though while you read.

Also...my view on skipping songs on album reviews. First of all, we come to watch you review an album...not some of an album or part of an album. We don't care if it's your first reaction. On the last album review you skipped my favorite song on the whole album which was a bummer because I was sitting here having a great time and thinking my song was coming up soon and then nope. :( It's 3 minutes out of your life....are we asking for too much?

I'm also on the bandwagon for not skipping songs, at the very least for folks who haven't heard the entire album. What if someone is also trying to get into BTS and you're their gateway, for example? And for those of us that know these songs, who cares if it's not your first reaction? As you say we come here to hang out with you! Nothing wrong with vibin

I think most of the people talking about the Japanese albums in the comments (including myself) are just trying to help him out! Haha. It's hard to read tone over text, but I think we're just clarifying for him since he asked to clear up the confusion about the albums! Not trying to be negative at all, just trying to help him out.
