I FEEL SO EMOTIONALLY INVESTED IN THIS SHOW. I'VE NEVER IN MY LIFE WANTED TO BINGE SOMETHING SO BADLY. I NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M TYPING THIS ALL IN CAPS BUT IT FEELS CORRECT. WHAT IS GOING ON?

I agree the editing style makes the show seem ever so slightly confusing (is that the right word?) but it makes it even more interesting to watch. Maybe that even portrays how emotionally confusing the situation is to them? Or i'm just looking too much into it. I can't wait to hear what you think about the next episodes to come!

Doubly agree about the editing style, it adds a tension where it otherwise might not be, and the cinematography is so good I'm actually willing to overlook it. The tension in this series as a whole feels so much tighter, and you noted it right from the start. There's always a "what's actually happening!?" sort of feel to everything, even that ending without the kiss and the episode start _with_ it. It feels like emotional whiplash, but somehow I can't get past the fact that it's intentional and so freaking well done, especially without all the usual biproducts like creepiness or low-key ickiness, you know? Like, the moment with Ae Ri could have left a bad taste, but it absolutely didn't, and it brought clarity between them where she says "I get it" and Ji Hyun gets to say it's happening for/to him without judgement. It's refreshing, as so many characters aren't that supportive/interesting/complex, even though we've only seen her for a few minutes on screen. She serves a different vibe but a similar purpose to Yu Na in Semantic Error, being a great friend, but I like that in this case it's to the other main character. [This observation made me randomly wonder if we've seen an example in BL of an extroverted bottom with an introverted top, and I'm now digging through my memory to find a BL with that dynamic. If someone knows one, let me know!] Anyway, I'm so glad you're enjoying this and that you're so invested. You have far more patience than I do; I binged this series until 3AM because I couldn't handle not knowing what happened next. #AdultingLikeABoss <3
