I'm only 5m in but I'll give my input from a peers perspective. I totally understand the sensation you're describing. Sometimes you have a messy day or week that throws you off, making your mood drop. Then it makes it very difficult to be genuinely happy or excited during a video, at least in the fashion you're satisfied with. So you take your small break, but for everyday you miss the are comebacks piling up because kpop never takes a day off. Then the workload is so overwhelming that it leads to more inaction. It completely snowballs. That's at least how I feel sometimes. We need to allow ourselves those breaks, time to ourselves without thinking about what's piling up in the corner of how people are waiting for us. The thing is, our audiences are similar in that we're both relatively small but we have some very loyal people in our communities. People that hound you over content aren't the ones you should look towards, it's the voices looking out for your health and well being. I know I kinda went on a rant, it's hard for me to express in words, but I totally understand that headspace. You'll always have loyal people waiting for you because at this point we don't click for the group you're reacting to, we do it because YOU are reacting to them. 💜

I don’t think it sounds privileged at all to say you need a vacation from your vacay because I always feel this! Disruption to an established routine really does cause a certain amount of stress, and like you said you’re now trying to play catch up so of course you’re overwhelmed. It’s okay to move slowly and upload slowly and to only react to the comebacks you’re actually invested in! People who comment only looking for more content from you must not understand the amount of time, energy, and overall effort you have to put in to record! The people who aren’t appreciative of the fact that you have only so much bandwidth aren’t worth working yourself to 💀 for, IMO! I hope things become less stressful soon and that your AC arrives immediately haha! Thank you as always for the reactions and thank you for the vulnerability in uploading this video as well! ✨🌟🌸

New Patreon here, so wanted to give my thoughts. I came here for Queendom 2 reactions, since i adore the show. But after seeing what a genuine person you are, i have been binging loads of your content, and enjoying it alot. I would never want someone to get burnt out, just to please other people. Always take time for yourself when you need it, and im sure most people here will support you in that, i certainly will (and i have only known you for 3 weeks, so that should say alot). Kpop can be very overwhelming, due to the insane amount of content gets released each month, so if you ever feel overwhelmed, just either push things back (which is totally fine) or just focus on the things you really want to watch. Ill be along the ride either way. Much love and support, we know you deserve it

You need a vacation from the vacation is kinda what i think it is. I think it's just you feeling overwhelmed right now, you just need some time to get in the routine of things again and when some time passes you will calm down and feel better. Allow yourself to go slowly to start with. You feel safer to post videos here because you know people who are willing to pledge already like you. And you probably like most people here more. Whereas on youtube it's more of a public place with all sorts.

This is your safe space to vent, we got your back here. "Vacation from vacation" is normal, it can be difficult to stream back into your daily routine, especially in your headspace. Your environment is likely contributing to your exasperation (all love to the pugs!) and hot weather can be enervating (I hope you get that portable ASAP). FYI regarding your board, the English word is "quorum" - not really English, but Latin but we use it in context in English. As for content/comebacks, your reactions and the timing of your uploads, the best advice I can say is go at your own speed because that way, we'll get your true reaction to the artists' work. Otherwise, won't it feel like a treadmill? That's not why you do this, I'm sure. Your Patreon supporters, even your YouTube subscribers, are your community who follow you specifically. As for the weird comments: Let's remember that Johan is not a bot, he's growing his beard out, listening to his pugs breathe heavily in the heat and drinking coffee (is it even iced??). Let's give him a cheer because a hug will probably be too sweaty. Hwaiting!

AND OH MY GOD, do I understand the mental frustration of comparing yourself to people that put out 10 reactions and get 100k subs like nothing. I do the same and it's so taxing.

So understandable, how you're feeling Johan! Getting back after trips can be so draining and disorienting, but you've done a great job catching up, in my opinion! Not sure why you're upset about your Loona & Kep1er reactions -- I thought they were great, but we are always our own worst critics. If you need to slow your pace in order to actually enjoy what you're watching, then by all means please do! We'll be here waiting, and YES we watch your videos, even if they are a little late !!!! Don't worry about that 💙

Jessi

I laughed so hard when you kinda went off😂😂😂 I completely agree. There’s always so much to catch up on when you get back from a trip. So many comebacks, contents, and concerts, like stop. But seriously, take your time. I love seeing your reactions so I don’t mind waiting. Some people are just so entitled, at least ask politely.

Elin

What you are feeling is very understandable. Things can get very overwhelming when things pile up and the environment is chaotic. Please take the time you need to get back in the swing of things, your own mental health is what is most important. I think i speak for many of us when I say we just want you to be happy doing the things you love. I really hope the ac helps cool things down for you so you can work and rest comfortably. Thank you for letting us know what is going on and take lots of care. ❤️❤️❤️

i've only ever really watched your tbz reactions, but out of all the kpop reactors, at the least the ones i've seen, you're my favorite. i really mean it. you're really entertaining in a way that feels very genuine and not over the top. and even in this video you made me laugh/smile, which made my day better. not saying any of this to pressure or burden you, just wanted you to know. it's okay to slow down and take time for yourself, even though i understand that can lead to even more stress and guilt, but at the end of the day your happiness and wellbeing comes first. people who are loyal will wait patiently for you to release reactions that you're personally satisfied with. also i can testify that even as a non-reactor kpop fan i often feel behind on content, so i'm sure a lot of your audience can relate. also the heat is AWFUL! anyways, i'm glad you enjoyed your trip, and hope you feel better and more rested/happy soon!

Patreon sub here, Johan, don't pressure yourself to upload, take your time. Don't be down on yourself, chill and relax. I consider your reactions raw and real. People who badger you or any reactor for that matter, "react to such and such", just need to stop. Anyways, Patreons are here to support and also your loyal YT subs.👍

i'm so overwhelmed with LOVE from all the beautiful comments here, i had no idea i would get this much support, it feels really good so thank you all so much for being so understanding 💙💙💙 since recording this video i have updating every title of my video on youtube, it took DAYS and HOURS but it was something i wanted to do for a while. i've also tried to update as many links as possible. i've started updating thumbnails for my videos as well, so far all of my TBZ mv reactions and i want to do the same for my loona reactions, especially all the pre debut ones. i was watching videos from the time i started making videos in 2017 and reacting to loona. mvs, teasers, theory videos, unboxings, ive done so many different ones. it was a fun (and sometimes a little cringe lol) journey to do. i never thought my life would turn out this way when i first started making videos. i'm so grateful to have this as my job, i really love it so much and it has helped me so much to appreciate myself and life in general. THANK U, I LOVE U ALL 💙
