yeah Alexa got 4 points. i know the fact that she is american has a little bit to do with it(sadly it's like that) but i also think it's because she is so damn short. koreans really fuss about height, but that one is just my thought about it. But also popularity does factor in quite a bit. You've got people who will vote for their favorites no matter how they perform and you will have people who vote the girls they thought did the best for each performance. Also a small portion of people who will vote for their favorites if they don't do mistakes etc, don't need to perform the best, but just not be the worst.

there were also some korean people who said they were at the recording and that she didn't sound as good irl? Ofc we can't be sure of the validity of those statements. She also said later that she had an ankle injury, I believe, so that may have influenced her dancing.

props for getting Yuri and Juri right! Look at you go! Yeah I do think Hikaru's team in GP999 managed to reclaim Boombayah and the Japanese trainees' image in this 'franchise.' Chaejeong ended up getting a lot of hate for choosing Snack/team 2 as her opponents, and it's really just the way mnet edited it too, because those kinds of strategies have been used in almost all seasons of produce, ugh. Yeah I think the one you thought was Jinny was Yewon from YGk+ (the model company)

when watching gp999 and Hikaru talked about pd48/how bad of an image japaneese idols have compared to korean idols, my only thought was that on pd48 all the japaneese idols were from akb48, in which they do things completely different. while in gp999 the japaneese contestants where from anywhere and they had some kind of training that were closer to that of korean trainees than what akb48 had.

also Johan. The leader in the AOA-Short Hair 2nd group(not the one with Juri and Yuri in it) Her name is Sian and she ended up joining Dreamcatcher Company and is rumored to debut in their next gg. (there's also rumours she has left DCC aswell, but i don't see much about it) She was spotted in the audience for the MBC survival show 'My Teenage Girl' that's currently airing.

Soyou was being a bit harsh but to be honest, I feel like she just did what she needed to do. Mnet was getting paid to hype up certain trainees and Sakura was definitely one of them. She was getting A LOT of screen time when the actual “talented” trainees weren’t getting any of those benefits. No personal hate towards her or any others because they obviously didn’t know about the things happening behind them. So when it was exposed that all seasons were rigged, this episode became the “highlight” of the show because Soyou & Cheeta were pretty much the only ones who weren’t afraid to spit out facts. At the end of the day, we all just hate Mnet. They only care about money, whatever, but why would you play around with their feelings and all the efforts? Apparently Queendom 2 is coming out soon so let’s see how that goes because we were pretty pissed about how it went for Kingdom🙄🙄
