Thanks for reacting to Golcha! (btw a common nickname for them is Gol-Cha :)). I love how comfortable they are with the hosts and the hosts always do enjoy having them on variety shows when they go. I'm not really one for big "abs reveal" either especially when boygroups have like super manly or macho concepts it feels really cringy haha. Golcha isn't really a group that does that, but they're kind of more elegant and like sleek i guess? but yea a brief back story actually, Bong Jaehyun (the one who they asked to lift his shirt) actually had Covid-19 :(((, and it delayed their promotions, and when they were filming the jacket-making for the album, the filming director randomly asked him to reveal his stomach, and so he did it for the photobook (which he's NEVER done), and so when they started promotions after he was negative and healthy again, i guess variety shows ask him about it a lot now. He's actually very quiet, cute, and shy... he's not very good with being put on the spot and has low self-confidence, so it was like a big deal for him. He's really just a baby :(. I know people like to think "typical boy group showing abs" but he's really far from it and is a very humble person and it's not like him at all to do those things. Sometimes script writers or directors kind of exploit that too much because the idols feel so much pressure to say no. Thank you so much again for the reaction. AND OMG SORRY FOR THE NOVEL ; ^ ;! <3
