So glad you stated this show! I promise what will follow doesn't spoil anything. I'm super careful about that. The anime and LN differ quite a bit. Mostly regarding how Ayanokƍji is portrayed. Something I love from the light novels is that everything is from his perspective so its harder to view his actions as cold since we think we're getting his perspective. He is so much more friendly in his own mind lol. But at the same time he is a unreliable narrator which makes for some great surprises. I hope you've enjoyed the show (I've only watched my favorite episodes) and can't wait for more to come. S1 is good but S2 does get better. Even though it diverges from the LN. But I'm just a complaining LN elitist lol. I hope you continue to enjoy! Just know he is a really cool character even if sometimes the anime might sell him short.
