I kinda wanted a redemption for Ilumgand. I just think he deserve one since he has good intention from the start but I feel like the author just use him as NPC villain for this arc. He was a wasted character that has potential if you write his character properly. How he lost his way is such stupid way even though he has ideals he wants to achieve with Hibiki. Maybe I should read the LN to get a better perspective but I kinda disappointed with Ilumgand's character. I expected more but this is not mushoku tensei where all side characters are good so I should have keep my expectations low.
