For those curious, the book explanation behind the tracking of the eye thing (that is applied to dodge gamble in earlier episode) - is that every NPC enemy in SAO with long distance attack always looks directly where they would launch a projectile, as long as the monster has eyes to do so. Same thing was inherited to every NPC on the Seed engine, thus why camera shown the eyes of the cowboy right before he switched to laser shots and why Kirito was able to predict it. It is implied, that it should be something frontline players knew of, used in so many battles in Aincrad, so it should be more than just Kirito that would be able to utilize this, thus why (among other reasons) he says it's just a skill. But he really took it another level by applying it to Sinon :D
