I dunno if i will have the nuts to do this, but I have Top Poet/lad Simon Armitage on the Grind tomorrow. A silly thought just occured to me related to a recent bit of idiotic content involving me doing a bad Armitage impression of him reading out Mister Bungle lyrics.

If you find the time or inclination to compose a short, daft, possibly even filthy little poem that might sound funny read out by the laconic laureate, please do post below. If the moment affords itself, I might ask him to read a few out.

If not, I will read them out in my best/ worst Armitage on Friday's show, so nothing lost.

Anyway, feel free to ignore, and as the FVrench always say, tu le pleus madame mons danne

In the bustling streets of yesteryear, Where Armitage and Keaveney drew near, A poem brewed with wit and cheer, Full of laughter, not a hint of fear. With words as sharp as a Yorkshire wit, And humor as dry as a biscuit bit, They danced along the lines they'd knit, Creating verses that perfectly fit. In Simon's gaze, a poet's grace, While Shaun adds a cheeky embrace, Together, they craft a jolly space, Where laughter echoes in every place. So let's raise a glass to these merry men, Whose poems bring joy time and again, With wit and humor, they entertain, In the grand tradition, they remain.
