Corrupted Files and Fix:

And now ... sadly ... it's time to tell you about a problem we had yesterday while uploading the files.

Same as we do every month, I (Dan) was creating the Zip files, one that contains the whole release and also individual Zips for each character and then I upload the files to their respectives MMF objects for you to download once the month starts.

As usual, when all files were uploaded I remove the duplicated STL files from my computer to save space and Elisa does the same, then I copy the Zip files to our external hard drive just to have a backup in case something goes wrong ... sadly I forgot to do this part last night.

Then, this morning, I was doing some final tests, just to be sure all files were ready for the new Patreon/Tribes launch, I downloaded all Zips from MMF as I always do and extracted them to ensure all models were there and that the folder hierarchy was correct ... and to my surprise, the main folder was empty ... all Zip files were corrupted and there was not a single STL files inside.

I connected our external hard drive ready to copy the Zip files and upload everything to MMF so everything was ready before the launch but ... as I said before ... I forgot to copy them (no excuses).

Then I rushed to our Google Drive because we usually use that one to send the models to each other and sometimes files remain in the trash folder, but ... nothing ... I emptied that one a few days ago.

Then I turned on my laptop because I remember I was away when Elisa started sculpting the firsts cats and I was using that one and I managed to find the first Tabaxi, the Ranger ... but only that one, I only used my laptop at the very beginning of the month.

At this point ... I knew there was no other place to look, I have lost all the Tabaxis (but one) ...

After talking with Elisa, she wanted to sculpt them all again from 0 and try to make them exactly like the ones we showed you using the renders (that we still have) as reference and releasing them at the end of the month.

But I had a better idea, to use the Tabaxi Ranger to replace all the other models!

Doing all the classes and also the smaller catfolk models by using the Ranger and then, just because we're generous like that, adding some extra flipped models to "increase" the release size as compensation.

We didn't have enough time to do them all but ... we (mostly me, Elisa not so much) are really happy to announce ... our New Tabaxi¿s? release!

We really hope you like them and ... not gonna lie, after all the stress that came from "almost" ruinning the release, we're probably take a few weeks/months off and probably skip the whole Summer Season or ... well, we'll post something before the end of the year (maybe).

Now we want to thank all our community, especially those active on Discord to whom we showed the new models this morning are were absolutetly delighted with them, some of them even saying they preferred the new ones, thank you, this really gave us the strength to post the new models!

Your comments and feedback are definitely helping us become a better Bite the Bullet, both of us (Daniel and Elisa) thank you very much.
