Basilisk´s Den Patreon was created one year ago by David, AKA "Basilisk", he has been painting for more than 20 years, 10 of them as a professional. He was teaching for several years on Miniature Art Academy, but at the end he decided to follow his own way of teaching, trying to bring you his experience and knowledge painting miniatures.

What can you find in his videos?

If you decide to join his Patreon you’ll receive a bunch of awesome video painting guides.

His idea of teaching is not that you learn his method. His idea is that you learn methods that adapt to what you want. He will teach you not only how hi paint, but also to paint in many different ways and you’ll be in charge of using the ones you want. Simpler, more complex, contest level or something more intermediate. Everything you learn will be useful to you on your way to reach the goal you want.

As soon as you start, you will have a library with dozens of videos of different levels and themes, focused on different techniques and styles (weathering, box art, wargame, exhibition, airbrush, brush …). In addition, you can enjoy two collaborations of Julio Cabos, one of the great masters of painting worldwide, specialist in airbrushing and historical painting.

What kind of figures are painted?

He´ll be painting mostly wargame content. That means Games-Workshop, Infinity, CMON, etc., but at different levels so you can adapt and learn to his lessons. He also have a pledge where he paints some 75 mm miniatures and different stuff, one vid per month.
