Paladin and Improvements:

First of all we want to thank our community because we have received a lot of very useful feedback in our Discord since we first showed this model a couple days ago and it's only thanks to that we have been able to implement several corrections to the character that will serve as a guide for the whole release and for the future of Bite the Bullet.

We're really happy to announce that thanks to our very tasteful patrons and supporters we have been able to achieve the best possible Halfling model and one that we can all agree that it looks amazing.

Here you have our first April character ... the Paladin!

Here we're going to explain step by step the improvement process of this character so you all can see how the creative minds of our backers help us each day to become better creators and how we have been working side by side with them to achieve what could be our masterpice (until now).

The first and most obvious change we did was about his height, most of you said he wasn't short enough, so ... without thinking it twice we reduced his height by 50% and made the first in the world ... Half-Halfling or Quarterling.

Then, you told us that he was "too handsome? if I remember correctly" to be covered by all that facial hair and by that huge and ugly bird beak-like helmet so we ... removed everything completely, and by everything we mean everything, top of the hair included.

The next correction was that he now had too little hair so we decided to compensate this by making his eyebrows bushier and ruffler and we also decided to make good use of his helmet plume, but ... oh no, we realized that he didn't have a helmet anymore so we decided to attach the plume directly to his head, problem solved.

Sadly, after these undoubtedly beneficial changes, we noticed a tiny flaw, because at first his ears were covered by that heinous curly blond hair we ... hadn't sculpt them, he had no ears ... but we swiftly and efficiently fixed it by attaching the helmet wing ornaments directly to his head acting as ears, after all, he's our angel.

It was a huge sucess and everyone loved it but a really keen patron noticed inmediately that his little bald head could (and probably should) be weaponized, so we thought about adding some horns (we know that Halflings doesn't have horns but in BTB we don't care about the oppresive D&D rules).

Oh, yeah, we also sharpen and stretch his nose for a better stabbing angle in case the horns weren't able to reach certain places.

Lastly, we all agreed that now he was way too powerful and in order to nerf him a little we decided to also reduce his vision by giving him a subtle and barely noticeable divergent strabismus issue.

In addition to bend his sword a little bit, which we could argue to be even better if used as a boomerang but way less effective in close combat.

And this ... is how we achieved the final result, the one that we're going to use as a base for the next models of this Halfling release (if we even do more models, to be honest we may take 3-4-8-52 vacation weeks after supporting this one and just come back next month with the Worgens or next year).

We want to thank all our community, especially those active on Discord and those who comment on every post for helping us become a better Bite the Bullet, both of us (Daniel and Elisa) thank you very much.

* Obviously these "improvements" are an April Fools' joke ... Nobody panic !! 😂
The right model is the one on the ... left.
And we'll release him next Monday.

Happy April Fool's Day!

Treebeard

He really is hideous. My first thought was, "What?? Oh no ,.... Elisa finally made a bad mini."

BiteTheBullet

Only on April 1st! This will never happen again (until maybe next year). As much as I (Iel) like to disappoint you ... that's not something Elisa want/can do 😌

BiteTheBullet

So sorry John 😭 We obliterated the file right after doing the render, he's ... no longer with us anymore 😔
