Before you'll get the next entry in the 'Aja saga' AND this seasons brand new Capture One pro styles on sunday - you're in for a treat.. 😉🤌🏻
Today we welcome a brand new gentleman to the channel!! 😱

Meet Thomas Nordstrøm Pedersen ! 😁
Such a cool lad, whom I had never met before this day. In fact, the reason why we met and did these photos, where because I was in a bit of a silly and joyful mood one day and made a shoutout on my Instagram story, in which I asked if anyone had a cool idea and wanted to get some photos done for free on next friday. 🤪🤷🏻‍♂️

So he wrote me and simply just said; "You know, I haven't really got any specific ideas but I'm up for anything and in fact wouldn't it be fun just to NOT prepare anything and just arrange a meeting and let's see what happens? 😁".
I'm always up for a challenge - and so we did.. 🥳

It didn't take more than 12 min after his arrival at the studio, until he said he wanted to do some lowkey and chill nude, since he had never tried that.. haha. I suggested we did it in the most simple setting possible tho and only make use of a single flash and a black backdrop then.

I also warned him about making it too similar to this shoot I had done with another gentleman, in a very similar setting. 😅 One of the ways I suggested we would differ, was in the post-process, so instead of heading down towards the 'warm'-tones, I suggested we went to opposite direction and went for a more 'cold'-look. ☺️

I have made this comparison below where you can see how the toning changes the look of the photo:

The 'warm'-toning is quite close to what I used on the other series - so I went with the slightly darker 'cold' look for this shoot. 🤓
Does it make sense?

The irony is tho, that we did two VERY different settings on this photoshoot and the next one will be released in 14 days or so. The other one is a full 'suit up / gentlemans fashion' in warmer tones, since it didn't really look like anything I had done previously. 😅

You can get an idea of how the second part looks by checking out this newly released 'Behind The Scenes'-video, where I show us shooting that exact setting. ☺️

Technical details..

Everything was shot on a Canon R5 with the first part here shot with a Canon 24-105 mm f./2.8 L USM III lens and the second part is mostly made with my Canon 70-200 mm f./2.8 L USM III lens. The first one shot on a completely black backdrop ( COLORAMA 168 BLACK 2.72X 11 M ) and the first one one a white ( COLORAMA 165 ARCTIC WHITE 2.72X 11 M ).

Elinchrom flashs where used; 1x at the nude set and 3x at the second part. 😁

WHAT DO YOU THINK? 😁🤷🏻‍♂️
- Let me know if you wants to see more with her in the future, got some ideas on what could be awesome to do or just have some technical questions or thinks you would like to know. 🙏🏻

Jo tak jo tak! 😁 Gav det mening det her med at jeg har forsøgt at lave den en smule anderledes end min forrige serie, kun ved hjælp af post-processen? 😅🤷🏻‍♂️

Anderledes end hvad, tænker du? ☺️ Den anden serie jeg omtaler eller hvordan?
