  After the succesful PS2 experiment looking at old memory cards, that pretty much sealed the deal on picking up some PS1 memory cards. This was so fun to film, especially considering the odds that I'd landed on some of my favorite games that were nearly complete. 

  Which means we have so much gameplay that wasn't able to make it into the final cut! Here's the 40+ minutes of 'useable' clips that got the axe. All in it's rare (but still there) uncensored glory.

how did you keep the fan noise out of the audio in the video. I just fired up frogger on my ps3 and it sounds like a jet engine next to me TV. It is really hard to transition back and fourth between ps5 and ps3 because of this sometimes.

New thermal paste on top (and underneath) IHS will help tremendously. But even then the fan curves should always be a little higher. And considering this was simply PS1 playback, it wasn't too demanding. But yeah the noise difference is still huge, one of my favorite things about the PS5 generation!

My solution was to get an extension cord and keep it in the closet 😆
