Hi Patrons, since Sony decided to drop the trophy changes and PS5 teardown today, a video covering that news took priority over the planned Wednesday upload I had. But it was prepared and ready to go, so for now - here's early access to that video! This topic goes over the entire PS4 launch lineup, and comparing it to the confirmed games we have so far for PS5. Hope you all enjoy!

Also just a note: I'm behind on updating Patreon outro credits to reflect the month of October so I will have this corrected for LTPS on Friday. Apologies!

Looking Back At All PS4 Launch Games: Will PS5 Stack Up?

We're still a few weeks away from getting a complete list of all PS5 launch games, but we've already got a lot of confirmed titles that will be ready day one. So for now, let's jump back 7 years and look back at every single PS4 launch game. How many were available? Were they good? Range of genre's? Do they hold up against what we know for PS5? All valid questions, and ones that we'll explore in this topic. But for now, I give you one simple task: SAVE THE LAST HUMANS. ► Support the channel on Patreon! "Contrast was in the shadows" funny considering the core gameplay mechanic involves shadows. I actually played that game and enjoyed it.

I’ve actually moved from Xbox to PS5 mainly for the fact the games that art coming like Sackboy are going to be what I’d like to play with my girlfriend. Now being older like yourself I love tech and want to have the next thing but don’t have the real time to be a hardcore fan so it’s really appealed to me while 5 years+ ago all I was after was call of duty etc no real exclusives or story mode games. Now I don’t play much online but I’m still getting black ops Cold War as it looks good and I’ll never leave the franchise

When I went to try to preorder a PS5 (they were out) there was actually a guy that went just to preorder Sackboy for PS4 which was interesting. I hope the game finds an audience!

Nice video Ryan! I was surprised by assassin‘s creed longevity as well. I do have to admit Black flag is still one of my favorites. The naval battle play had me hooked 😂. I’m still hopeful Ubisoft can finish “Skull and Bones” sometime I thought it looked promising at 2017 E3.

Dude Assassin creed its got a huge fan base im one of them i dont think they would kept making them after Ezio story if they knew people wasn't gonna buy them but we do we buy every game & we have our fun with them

As I was editing this I was like 'doh', should have mentioned no pun intended hahaha.

Skull and Bones looked so cool, I was starting to worry the project was turning into vaporware. I'm STILL hopeful we see something like Deep Down too.

It wasn't a knock towards the entire franchise, just more so the first game which was a little rough around the edges. And the first game can really make or break the potential for the publisher exploring sequels.
