Toby Kebbell, the actor that played Chapman in Kong Skull Island, also played Kong in the film as well. Even though Kong was CGI Kong was actually done by motion capture Toby did all of Kong’s movements and emotions. He also did motion capture and the voice of Coba in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
