This is like my 4th time watching the show and it's such a good rewatch! The mother who became a womb and the kids finally crying will always tug at my heart. being able to propperly hate the fucking shit who liked tortuing little girls the entire time is much more satisfying. But the true test of how good it is is something new sticks with me each time! This time the line about "no one really wants to die" and "not fearing death, is different than wanting to die" really stick out to me. and also paired with the narration of being on the point of extinction but still striving for survival. This show is so well made. It's scary, has so many different monsters, the characters are so fleshed out, the action is great, but also takles so many heavy topics. Yes, a lot of different traumas and losses, but also depression and suicdal thoughts. A difficult, often uncomfortable topic that often can also come off as preachy or cliche. But this show chooses the hero to be the one struggling with those thoughts. I"m struggling waiting because I want to watch season 2 with you guys! But seriously a practically perfect show in my book. Squid Games was great, but this came out slightly earlier and I was just like why couldn't this be the Kdrama to go viral?? It's a genre show, but in a way is a better represtentation of everything I love about Kdramas. Sorry for the ramble, but I am so enjoying my favorite reactors reacting to one of my favorite shows! I wanted to wait until y'all got a bit deeper into it to share some thoughts without spoilers
