Now to my statement In your response you say that language is not an ethnicity.it absolutely is an ethnicity. Ethnicity is defined as a group sharing a common language, cultural traditions and practices. In India where ethnicity is determined by differences that are not race based, therefore instead is based on language, religion and cultural practices which fall along state lines. I don't have an issue with you wanting to express your solidarity with Jen based on your preference for Hindi movies (language based ) however, your method of relying on untrue facts and claims to strengthen your weak points is problematic. What is with oscar thingy everytime. It does not mean anything in terms of the quality of the movie. A movie doesn't become good or bad just because of an oscar. So many good movies and i am not only talking about indian films but western films as well have so many brilliant movies that miss out on oscars. You are taking like every year there are 10 bollywood movies nominated and every time they loose. Very rarely does an bollywood movie or indian movies in general get nominated depending on how much hype they created globally or atleast in America. There are some good bollywood films that good have a chance of winning the oscars. You think rrr even though a very good movie will be anywhere close to the oscars if it didn't explode n the US. I don't think oscars should be a method of judging an indian film as i don't think westerners exactly get and feel the movie like us locals. There also example of South Indian movie like bahubali absolute hit in India no competition but that time people in US had no idea about all these movies so that dosen't mean its a bad film in my opinion it is better than rrr. bollywood is still creative less industry that they have to give out award to remakes movies like drishyam 2 and vikram vedha. lol recently, iffa 2023 in abu dhabi. Hrithik winning vedha role who he copied from vijay sethupathy. (Drishyam 2022) best film award even though drishyam 2 is already done in malayalam film industry in 2021. That how creativeless bollywood is. That how international acclaimed film critics and film director think about bollywood. That why they can't even win oscars because they copy a scene from other industry including hollywood. they copy scenes from superman, raid, x-men, transformer 3, matrix revoultion, spiderman 2 = krish 3. Even paathan climax scene is copied from jackie chan adventure anime series. I was dareing achara and jaby to watch Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. but they won't watch it. Because it has Grandpa Salman Khan in it. He is a vargin that he does not like girls in that movie but want to Romanize his brothers. Jaby does not have true balls to watch Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is hindi bollywood masterpiece film. For jen, jay and Dillion for type of white wash name people would perfer masterpiece from jaby and achara reaction Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan but they are not Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. It also seems like you don't know the difference between ethnicity and language because someone with a different cultural background can be bilingual or know a different language compared to their background💀. So I would advise you that instead of copying and pasting terrible definitions from Google, learn to understand what's written and use some critical thinking. Bollywood has always been known as the meme of India, the films have no substance and are soulless films copying from Hollywood. South Indian films have carried India's reputation of films out of the messy hole Bollywood has put them in. Ask any reputable film reactors on youtube that know the indian game and ask them if North or South produce the better artistic films. Most or all with say South.
