Yes! Such a good choice and an almost near-perfect movie. The only criticism I would say is the old people makeup was kind of bad and distracting, which was odd to see because literally everything else is perfect from the acting to the dialogues and especially the cinematography. Maybe you guys can do a rewatch in the future with steph, she would have loved this one.

No dislike for Julia at all, but wish Achara had watched this with someone who is more seasoned in Bollywood because this movie packs so much nuance and is a masterpiece. I think a fun movie would be fine with someone new but something like Barfi needs to be watched with Steph, Syntell or Andrew solely due to the Bollywood exposure they have had and the appreciation for the arts. Julia talked over a lot of things and Achara consequently missed some stuff that I wish she hadn’t :( Nonetheless it was great fun watching it with you guys! (:
