Yes. Everything is masterclass in bollywood from jaby and achara point of view. That why they never win oscar or golden. If jaby has balls that used against his ex girlfriends. Why not watch Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Be man for once. If you had multiple of girlfriends in your life. Be a man jaby watch that film.

Really?! Im seeing it after 10 years and I found so many hidden poignant moments - the subtle insecurities related to ageing, to losing hope, to not having a charm filled life, to losing loved ones, regret over the past, suicide, unfulfilling relationships, loneliness and what not. But im glad you felt good :) Amidst all this, two people still found a way to strengthen each other. So i see it from your lens too, I guess :D

By the way, I wanted to ask everyone, do you think "Bhutan" in the film is just a metaphor for Ila going to a better place or moving on in life to find her happiness? I don't think she's actually going to Bhutan because it's not easy to just settle and start living in Bhutan. Was this always obvious and am I getting the metaphor after a decade?! When I first saw this film 10 years ago, I believed she was planning to literally go to Thimpu.

Mother daughter are dead by the end! It is pretty linear story line but sometimes it jumps 2-3 mins forward or backwards (for e.g.: letter reading scenes and meet up scene) at the end they don't show anything but in the middle of the movie they show taking of the Jewlery and going to the roof scene (twice) which is flash forward of the end.

I might consider this theory except that she says she sold her jewellery. She also did not seem the type to take her daughter with her to death.
