Then that should hold true for actresses as well. Why are all the lead actresses in south industries super hot, while the males they choose can be as shabby looking as they like? If cinema is a visual medium shouldn't it cater to either both genders, or none in perticular. Cuz atm it's pretty clear that most south/regional movies are made for men, with both attrative females and mostly action content

some people find actresses from the southern industry hot and others don't, its about perspective. some people might find vijay sethupathi good looking while you don't. i would also say that no actor needs to good-looking to be a lead in a movie regardless of gender. they are actors, not models.

He is a lead actor coz he is a stellar performer,it isfine if his looks aren't appealing to you but questioning his looks and his acting is really disrespectful, there are millions like me who find him and all those "shabby south indian actors" very very handsome why is it that you have to say something bad about south indian actors or content everywhere...I find Shahid completely unattractive and but there are many who find him great looking i cant question that !!.most of the movies showing strong women & about women including socially responsible movies & commercially sound movies are from "south indian" movie industry Aruvi ,Uyare,Take Off,Gargi, Great Indian Kitchen,Kaala, Kadaisi Vivasayi,Jai Bhim ,Peranbu,Paraiyerum Perumal and so many more ...why even VijaySethupathy's 96 is still one of the most touching love stories ever told...and in Kadaisi Vivasayi & Super Deluxe he did a role which once again spoke for itself..once again if u hate south indian movies ,actors content ..no one can change that but dont be disrespectful about the actors and the "south indian" industry . just coz they aren't flashy and to ur taste... that doesn't mean they arent heroes and leading actors ..and great performers!!!! Movies are about stories and performances in visual medium and not just about satiating everyones appeal for looks of actors !!!

You don’t speak for the rest of us, Jen. Many people find Vijay sethupathi and other South Indian actors attractive as well. At the end of the day, you’re jealous and clearly have no life. You spend all your time ready to write some hate comment on South Indian actors/content like it’s your full time job. It’s clear you have some underlying issues that haven’t been sorted out yet.

My people don't care about look. They don't request posh movies like you see in dehli or karan johar posh school. You guys think SRK is handsome because his team to apply makeup on him. Look at profile picture of "Without south remake and copying hollywood action scenes bollywood would never exist" that real SRK without make up or he cover his face with sunglasses.

Sigh… Just coz you don’t find VJS attractive doesn’t make him universally unattractive.. you find Student of the Year Oscar worthy doesn’t make it Oscar worthy.. personally I like my men like I like my coffee dark and strong.. Shahid on the other hand is not my cup of coffee.. but that is MY preference not a universal opinion.. Also if you can get over your prejudice and actually watch 3 of VJS’s movies you will see why he is a lead actor.. just saying

Bro bollywood. Will take kaithi and other south indian movies and ramboo Like baghi 2 and bhoola.. Bollywood need south script. Bollywood need to show deepika padukone groin pit and make it as national issues inorder to sell ticket at the boxoffice. Bollywood will copy scenes from james bond spectre, mission impossible, and sahoo inorder to make paathan.
