Bro Daddy (2022) it is a very good comedy drama movie that you can definitely enjoy with friends & after its success there are talks of its remake in telugu, Hridayam (2022) this is a good coming-of-age romantic drama film with amazing background score. Bangalore Days (2014) and 12th Man (2022), Lucifer (2019)

I need to add this: many people recommended Hridayam (a 2022 Malayalam hit), I watched it a few days ago and didn't like it, and I'd be very surpised if you guys liked it. It tried to be Premam (which I loved but you didn't even care for in the 1st place) but the script is aimless, it also feels like a part of the movie was ripping off Arjun Reddy, another part 96, but it doesn't work. It's a guy's story in college and early adulthood and it feels like there is no point at all... Anyway. You've been warned 😄😄

Are people recommending Hridayam aware that Jaby & Achara disliked Premam? Because Hridayam tried to be the new Premam (and failed). I don't think they'll like it.

I and my cousins had a blast watching it at midnight, two days before one of my cousins engagement. And if you like comedy & family, you might love it

Your next SSR movie should be *Yamadonga* it was his 3rd collab with NTR in 2007 (RRR is the 4th). It's an epic masala with the usual mix of romcom and action but it also has... a lot of surprises, but I'm not saying what. The best would be to go in the movie blind and be ready to be very surprised! 😊

Since Achara and Andrew really liked the late actor Srihari in Magadheera (Sher Khan/Solomon), they could watch *Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana*, a very popular Telugu movie where he plays the heroine's brother. It's a romcom/drama. Lots of fun and very engaging story. It was remade in Hindi. The couple is played by Siddharth (Jigarthanda, Rang De Basanti) and Trisha (96).

They reviewed it years ago, they saw it in theaters. But I guess Syntell and Andrew could do a watchalong 🙂

I watched KAATHUVAAKULA RENDU KAADHAL a few days ago, the polyamory romcom with Vijay Sethupathi. I loved it and would recommend it for Jaby & Achara. It's unique, fresh, lots of fun, some depth + a really stunning cinematography. Lots of people didn't like the script in the 2nd half but I tremendously enjoyed the whole thing.

JAYA JAYA JAYA JAYA HEY a 2022 Malayalam hit that is in the style of Darlings (abused wife revolts). Serious topic but lots of humour. Some martial arts involved 😊 The abusive husband is played by the director of Minnal Murali, I had no idea he was such a good actor too 😄

Honestly, I think Athadu might be better than both, but I’m not sure.

This is not something South Indian but if I would like to recommend something, it would be to react to the teasers and OST of Tere Bin, it’s a Pakistani Drama and is trending in India at the #1 position

Please watch the movie Dashavatharam starring Kamal Hassan in 10 roles. It was the first time ever an actor did this in the history of World Cinema. It's an incredible movie. Must watch !!!

Abhishek Ramakrishnan

Pavan Kumar's U turn. It is a horror movie based on breaking traffic rules. It is really good.

There were many good content-oriented movies made in Tamil this year, such as Parking, Dada, Viduthalai Part 1, Chithha, and Good Night. All these movies were made on a low budget (except for Viduthalai Part 1), but the issues they address are very impactful and offer entertainment as well. A special shout-out goes to the movies directed by Vetrimaran - Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Asuran, and Viduthalai (mentioned above). His movies are always a must-watch, as they consistently address strong subjects and convey meaningful messages.
