I don't know if having the audio for the movie loud while we watch it is helpful or not, but here's the watchalong with the audio lowered (how we normally do it)

Both are fine. But having the audio loud throughout helps in syncing at any point of the video. I usually keep the main movie volume really low to avoid an echo effect.
