As per request, here is the watchalong to Anbe Sivam. Since we have the watchalong edit here early, thought we would upload here first. We are still working on the cutdown edits so please be patient while we get the review to you. But until then, you have this! oh my god ...when did this happen? I almost opened the window to Bhul Bhulaiya but now I can't watch anything else. Thank you for doing this. This movie had me in tears and I don't know it made me feel a lot of things!!! " Yaar yaar Sivam... Nee naan Sivam!!"

Godbless . I know that child one is too much to handle. Should of put warning label. That is life in many country that is not considered western. The reality if india. Not glamorizing india. This movie is not one time watch film. You have to watch it more disect. Their is so many messages in this film. This is cult film.

Thank you for watching good films. Please give importance to good film. not fan service films. Please. This movie very metaphorical film. humanism, Altruism, Atheism & Communism explained very well. This movie tell beautifully of karma that found in Hindu religion. (the universal law of cause and effect). Hope you can catch them. I know jaby will be like how kamal hassan turn into jackie chan. Kamal hassan does know a indian martial arts called silambattam . You saw it on the romancing with art music video he and his lover and friends are hanging out in a farm field. He was spinning with a bammbo stick with his hand . He used the same bamboo stick spinning technique as umbrella in the fight scene. Their fore. He knows martial arts. It was indicated in the music video. You can say it is a biblical film. But if know little about lord shiva the god of destroyer. You will understand this film more. But owner believe nothing can happen to him because he is a devotee to shiva. So Shiva can forgive him. but if know about hinduism little from what is hinduism by Cogito. it talked about karma. At the end of the movie karma happend to the owner.

Hey Achara, Good Choice. This is a hard one to understand as it has lot of subtle references that involve culture and the world of where the movie is made. FUN FACT: This movie was a box office fail when it released. But, now it is a cult classic. Please add the movie "Aayirathil Oruvan" to your list. This movie is one the best fantasy movies in tamil or in Indian cinema as a whole. This was a box office fail as well but now people can not get enough of it. I think it is available in EROS NOW. Wow. A cult film. Looking forward to it. Thanks jaby. looking forward for beautiful adventure with you guys in this film. Really awesome job guys. Very good selection. People complained about madhavan acting. He just played his stubborn and ignortant character so well. He never had brother love or sister love. He is just young guy experienicng different life that he is upbrining is from. I forgived his character. What I like about this film is unity among the states they have visited. India should always well come that.

I just have to ask.. While I love the first half and almost the second forty five minutes of Ayirathil Oruvan, I could never get on board with the climax of the movie. I mean what was the point? I was mad by the time the movie ended. Maybe I didn't get it as I never formally learned the history. Or was there supposed to be a part 2? I don't know.

@sherya you mean he is only child and brought up from upper class or middle class family. So the parents must to spoon fed him alot. Which led him be ignorant. Be ignorant person in real world. Madhavan wanted the easy life and he did not get it. That why he is struggled in this journey. Same I don't know why people hate his acting.

If you guys manage to catch the 20 Percent chance to live ideology into labour business ideology. Then you guys are best the film critic ever. Looking forward to the review. The owner said you have 10 percent to live to kamal hassan. The nurse said kamal hassan has 20 percent to live. The owner wants everything from kamal life by siting next to him and asking kamal to die. Like his labour management and locked minimum wage. Like he loves draining labour worker energy and strength to zero percent so he can get maximum productivity and profit which are can go pass even 110 percent. Since kamal hassan is not his worker. He loves it when suck kamal life to zero because he is a problem to his life.
