I enjoyed the watchalong. I didn't enjoy the commentary after that tbh. I don't know why Jaby chose to give us a monologue about what could have been and what didn't connect with him for several minutes. It's like he built it up so much inside his head that he was actually let down somehow by the end result. Even Syntell didn't go that hard on it. The problem with hindsight and comparison is that it doesn't let you enjoy the moment as much as it should while you're stuck up in your own head. If we start comparing things we watch to other things we have seen before, I doubt we will be entertained by the content we are consuming at that moment. That's just me. Now, I doubt you guys will enjoy the rest of the season as much as we did since you'll be nitpicking on stuff people usually don't care about that much, for example, the technicality behind a single shot sequence, etc. PS. This episode is one of the highest rated episodes of the season on IMDb. Just saying.

I felt like this oner was way better than season 1. The way the camera goes from bottom floor to the top and then continues was really a tough thing to pull off.

Yeah I agree with you dude. I thought this was the best episode and when I saw the reaction it the me off.

Subir Adhikari

Definitely the oner is not better than season 1 hospital scene.

It's called constructive criticism. Raj & DK admitted to taking notes from Jaby & Syntell's critique of Season 1. I'm sure when there's an interview with them next, they will only appreciate these deep dive commentaries. I understand that we feel defensive about things we love; esp., in India, it's a trait we carry as a society - we like to worship things and not question them or let others question them.
